For a taste of the island life, Christmas Island District High School also offers science based study tours and adventure tours for international students. Tours encompass activities such as camping at Dolly Beach or investigating the nesting habits of seabirds at Lily Beach. All tours are presented by experienced Australian teachers who have good local knowledge.

This program aims to broaden and enrich student’s global awareness. Hosting visiting student groups for study and adventure tours forms part of this program and mutually benefits both the visiting students and the local students.
